Light: Turtle Vine thrives in bright, indirect light. It can tolerate lower light, but its growth may slow, and the colors may become less vibrant. Avoid direct sunlight, as this can scorch the leaves and cause the colors to fade.

Watering: Water the plant when the top 1-2 inches of soil feel dry. Like many other tropical plants, it doesn’t like to sit in soggy soil, so ensure the pot has good drainage. Overwatering can lead to root rot, while underwatering may cause the leaves to dry out and drop. Turtle Vine is more tolerant of drought than overwatering.

Humidity: Turtle Vine prefers moderate humidity but can tolerate average indoor humidity. If the air is particularly dry (especially in winter), occasional misting or a humidity tray can help the plant thrive.

Temperature: Turtle Vine prefers warm temperatures between 60-75°F (15-24°C). It should be kept away from cold drafts or temperatures below 50°F (10°C), as it’s sensitive to the cold.

Soil: Use a well-draining, general-purpose potting mix. A mix formulated for houseplants or a cactus/succulent mix will work well, as long as it allows excess water to drain.

Fertilization: Feed Turtle Vine once a month during the growing season (spring and summer) with a diluted, balanced fertilizer. Reduce feeding in the fall and winter when the plant is not actively growing.
